Cupcake Icing Course

My Mum and I went on a cupcake icing course in Chesham run by the Chiltern Society. We had two hours learning how to make nature-related icing creations. Despite the description saying we’d be making flowers and other nature-inspired creations, the only models we learnt to make were roses. Despite this, it was a good introduction to icing and using the array of plunger cutters was fun.

Here are the roses, made using a method similar to this one explained by niner bakes http://www.ninerbakes.com/2012/01/09/how-to-make-fondant-roses-for-cupcakes-weddingbridal-cupcakes/
